Lauren Harano is a seasoned writer with nearly a decade of experience spanning print magazines and online publications.

Her expertise and passion lie in the travel space, where she has contributed to some of her favorite publications including National Geographic, Fodor’s Travel, Hotels Above Par, and Locale Magazine. Her work involves highlighting and reviewing luxury hotels, indulging in crave-worthy restaurants, and exploring and experiencing bucket-list destinations. (A tough job, but someone’s got to do it.)

Beyond travel, Lauren has written for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen magazines as well as Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Editorialist, Teen Vogue, Esquire, Women’s Health, and PS, to name a few. Her byline list is ever-growing, thanks to incredible editors and colleagues she has had the pleasure of meeting and working with along the way.

When Lauren’s not writing or interviewing sources, she can be found scouting the perfect hotel for her next adventure, volunteering at her local animal shelter (in the Cat Care section, of course), and adding more restaurants to her—extensive yet very curated—list.
